Default Kayak launch question

Was looking to launch on the Passaic next week. Are you able to park and launch at the end of Camp Lane? What about the little parking lot at the corner of Two Bridges? Not looking to get ticketed or towed. thanks for the help.

I've always parked on Fairfield Road, a little ways up if you make a left from Two Bridges Road. But I'm not positive it's OK.

Have heard conflicting stories about the Camp Lane launch. Some says its closed, some say not. I'd err on the side of caution over there, the guy that owns the house next door seems to have a hard-on for fishermen. The lot right where the bridges meet is OK, as well as Aqueduct Park in Lincoln Park 1.5 miles upstream, or Suchorsky Park in Little Falls, about 1.5-2 miles downstream.

The lot where the bridges meet is fine.
The only problem I ever had there was with the lunch-truck guy who parks there, but I concluded that guy was full of shit and he just wanted to park close to the river because it's in the shade.

That shitty house on Camp lane is occupied. I have no idea who paid to have that launch built and maintained. A little investigation is in order.
Zillow seems to indicate that the property the launch is on and the land next to it is NOT owned by the owner of that house, but I wouldn't make any decisions based on Zillow property line maps.

iirc, it's the town's for the fire department to launch into the river if needed. that was part of the reasoning given for it being closed, that there were too many people parking there for the FD to use it if they had to.
