BOUNTY HUNTER - Fluke With The Matt MacSherry Charter, 9/20
We had the Matt MacSherry charter on board today. Along with Matt were Mick, Mac, Greg and Gary. Paul worked the deeper wrecks and rock piles further offshore today but the morning conditions were terrible. With a residual heave and current into the wind we had a total lack of drift for the first 4 hours. The guy's put a couple of Fluke in the box along with a few Ling but overall it was not what you would call good fishing. Around Noon we finally got a break as the Tide changed and a south wind came on. With a decent drift the crew went on to finish the day with 12 Fluke in the box topped off by an 8 1/2 lb. Fluke landed by Matt. We also kept 8 Ling. Always a good time when the MacSherry charters are on board.
