We had another great day of Ling fishing on Wednesday with beautiful weather, great conditions and plenty of fish. With a couple dozen anglers on board we headed out to the Ling grounds and the fish did not disappoint, and we had a couple of keeper Cod as well. Anglers had from 20 to 40 fish per man on average with highs near 50. Tracey Forbes from Lakewood, NJ won the pool and had 20 Ling for the day, Middletown Mike had 30 Ling, Noel Westerlind, Sr. from Leonardo, NJ was high hook with 47 Ling, Dennis Stock from Fairfield, NJ had 40 Ling and James Edgerton from Browns Mills, NJ had 20 Ling.

We will be sailing every day for Ling and Cod until Sea Bass season opens back up on September 27th. From Sept. 27th through October 14th we will fish for Sea Bass every day, and return to Ling fishing on October 15th when Sea Bass closes again.

Paramount Sailing Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday & Friday Marathons
6:30am till 5:00pm every Monday, Wednesday & Friday targeting Ling & Cod

Daily Ling Trips
6:30am till 3:30pm every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday targeting Ling and Cod

Hey Capt. thanks for the report. Sounds like you guys had a great trip.
Quick question..."round" two of Sea Bass season closes 10/14; can you advise as to when the next "round" of Sea Bass season opens?

I have my score card out and just trying to fill in the blanks. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Keep up the good work with the ling and the "cards".
