Awesome fish! Can't imagine it hitting on top water.

I'm not the best guy to ask because I don't target them much open water, I spend a lot of time fishing for pike and muskie through the ice. I was using my carp gear: 11' cabelas predator with 50lb power pro and 80lb floro leader. I hear big bucktails produce a lot of fish, also big jerkbaits and crankbaits. Topwaters are a lot of fun, the one I was using today is about 10"

Gorgeous fish and what a set of chompers! I've caught true strain Muskie, Northern Pike, but never a Tiger, very jealous!
