Passaic River 8/1/13

Took my dad my little cousin and older cousin on my boat. Launched out of elmwood park. I really wanted to go fishing for smallies but had the kid on the boat and don't really know where to go for the smallies so I took them to shallow water. Missed a couple hits jigging but my little cousin caught 4 sunnies that's about it. Not a great day fishing but always good to see a huge smile on a kids face when they catch a fish!

good stuff! it's not the size of the fish that matters, but the size of the smile it puts on the fisherman. i am sure your little cousin will always remember going out on the river and catching fish.

but keep in mind big fish = big smile too, haha
