Default My smallest pike/musky/pike ever...

Thought it was a baby musky but just a Redfin Pickerel. A whopping 3.5"

IDK. My fish seem to be getting smaller and smaller

Must have been a tough little dude.....What did that thing hit?

You could have attached a couple treble hooks to that thing and made one hell of a stick bait to catch it's momma!

Nice rare catch. Been wanting to catch one of them but that seems like needle in a haystack... Literally

That would be sick for a fish tank

I caught one of those many years ago in an obscure little pond on a rooster tail. It was closer to 8 or 9" and was whiter in color with more pronounced red fins. Congrats on the rare catch.

If you can find one, go for it. Very low maintenance, just keep the aquarium oxygenated and clean it every month or two. I have had a chain pickerel for over a year and he's still doing quite well.

Very fun to watch them eat!

Gorgeous looking little guy, nice catch.

We've had a Pike, Smallmouth, Largemouth, Bullhead Cat, Green Sunfish, Rockbass and Sunnies in my roommate's 150 gallon. All were pretty hardy and did well except for the Largemouth.

There was a spot that I caught 3 pike on 3 casts, 2 years ago, and they were all the same size.....6 inches. All on the same spinner bait I was using for the big guys. I am guessing that there must have been a stocking that day close to the area I was fishing.

It's an amazing river......you can get one from 4 feet long, to 4 inches long, with the same lure in the same spot on 2 different casts.

I guess that is what keeps us going.
