6-4-13 Wow talk about a pretty day on the water,,,it was all that and more today...Flat calm,,gusty Nw winds in the morning made it feel like October more than June but it was very comfortable.I was happy with the fishing today as well..All day we bounced around the rough bottom and picked away at some real nice sea bass,,,pool fish went probably about 4lbs,but quite a few other fish weighed in close to it as well..Each spot for the most part had life on em,,we would just slowly pick at the bass,,,and some nice ling came up as well along with a keeper Codfish..Shallow water believe it or not,,we never went over 60ft.and were in as close as 40...In the end most did decent with fish to go home with,,,some did have a slow day but overall I was happy with what we caught and the life we had...I did notice that the high hooks had some kind of gulp on with a piece of clam,,,green or anything brite worked well.Also casting around moving the bait worked well for some nice ones and some nice double headers..Check out just a handfulof some of these beautiful fish from today,I look forward to tomorrow already!!See ya in the morning,,wind are only 5-10 mph tomorrow so it should be beautiful.....
