![]() Well I guess the plate is really full now.
Rutgers students putting mico chips in fish, a major shad study, dam removal, fish ladder and fish counts, now tagged stripers in the Raritan. I will be looking more into this in the coming months and get as much feedback as possible. http://www.littoralsociety.org/tagging_what_is_it.aspx |

![]() The tag in the picture appears to be a Littoral Society tag (yellow streamer), but it appears to be inserted in the belly and not in the back. The Littoral tags are usually looped after they are inserted in the back. That might be a newer tag or one from another agency. Tagging those stripers in the Raritan might bring some surprising results when the tags are returned. For the catch and release crowd it might bring a entirely new dimension to their fishing.
