Default Grandma's Pond 5/8 BASS GONE WILD

Hit Grandma's pond from 3-5:30pm yesterday. Had fish from start to finish. Threw senko type worms and some garden worms. Had about 25 fish and lost about 15 more. Fish just ate everything. I broke up the senkos into bits and caught them on that almost every cast. Biggest fish was 17inches.

Next Time there will be pictures...

The pond is in my Grandma's retirement development. A guy in the development who lives on the pond stocked it with 12 dozen Bass, some bluegill, some sunnies, and some green sunfish. If you have a pond near by you can do the same as well. (Only if you want to).

My folks' NJ place is a retirement community in Freehold with 4 or 5 lakes on site and "No Fishing" signs on every one of them.

Suppose there is no harm stocking it but the no fishing part would drive me mad.

I don't think there is no harm either. Those old people who run the developmet think Bass or fish in general will make the pond dirty, but they are wrong. Some kid who is the grandson of the guy who stocks the pond fishes there but that is about it. Are there fish in those ponds?

I don't know if there are fish in there, I've never gotten close to any of them to have a look around.

I think my step-father said something about some of the guys in the development using remote controlled boats in one of them but they never saw anyone fishing there.

Fortunately their winter place in Florida has plenty of fish in it!
