Default Clamming

Hit the clamming grounds recently with a couple friends, one who drove seven hours from the Pennsylvania/Ohio border for his first ever clamming trip. Was an overcast day, but the clamming was good and we ended up with a nice haul. My buddy, who drove all that way tried his first ever clam on the half shell shucked fresh from the bay and absolutely loved it. My other friend, who is a chef, made an awesome shore lunch of a Jersey clam boil with our fresh caught clams, sausage, potato and fresh Jersey corn. Was an awesome day on the water spent with good friends.

Thank you so much for this. I live in Maine, and I hen clam often as no license is required. Those pics are fantastic.

Awesome! We had such a great trip, and the meal was delicious. We love clamming. An inexpensive fun day on the water.
