FLUKE REPORT SUN; 6/27/2021

Hey Gang, It was a beautiful hot summer day out on the water today. After speaking with Capt. Scott last night about yesterday's fishing I decided to try a different area today. The fares onboard started off with some nice action on shorts and keepers. We were able to get a few drifts out of it before we lost the float. Ended up grinding it out in a few different areas picking away the rest of the day. By the end of the day we had about a dozen nice keepers and roughly 50-60 shorts. The pool fish was in the 4-5lb range. Not a terrible day but after catching 400- 500 fish per trip bottom fishing it was a big adjustment. Certainly could have used a few more keepers for the coolers, you never know maybe on the next trip which is tomorrow. Thanks Captain Jack.
