whats with all this wind??????????

i figured after tuesday afternoons bite i would go out again yesterday and just play c&r for awhile,WRONG!!!!!!!.i went back to were i had them to find a steady
ne right in my face.we all know 4lb test,1/64 jigs and a bobber do when you
try throwing into the wind.i went and found a small cove that was out of the wind and started catching shiners and perch but no crappie.it was ok action and took my mind off of the other stuff for sure.i never thought i would say this but the shiners are allot of fun but i guess any port in a storm.suppose to be better
today so i'm going back up.take care everybody and be safe.

Bunker, what was the water temperature?

high 40's should be up a bit today with the sun.last night it dropped into the low 30's.we should be ok today with the wind change and sun.

Thank you, just trying to gauge by the water temps if the smallies are starting to move up and feed. Will head out Saturday and see what happens.
