Default esox and bass

First T-shirt weather of the year this Friday. Also fished Sunday and it went back to winter

Nick and I kept our distance (no carpooling) and fished some water Sunday.
Got some bass and pike, also Nick caught this SLOB pickerel which taped to about 27 inches.

Friday I ran into JimmyL; while fighting a large fish as I scurried downstream past him. He was bad-ass enough to land this mooski in this tiny net. Couldnt have landed it without him thanks dude!

Upon landing, the hook was caught low out of the mouth and line wrapped around. could be a case of the hook popping out and sticking elsewhere after getting wrapped up ? but ill look forward to another one which hopefully stays pinned in the mouth

Wow! What a GREAT couple of days fishing! All you needed was a walleye to top it off !

Great mixed bag from NJ’s finest rivers.

I only wish I showed up to the river 15 minutes earlier. Seeing the Musky come up would’ve been awesome. Congrats on the PB Luke! Well done river warrior.

That's a good weekend of fishing.
Very happy I was able to help land the musky for you. After offering help, I thought, oh man, don't lose this guys fish. With the strong current it was tricky trying to get her in. Big fish!
