We get large ones when cod and seabass fishing outta Montauk. 1.5 to 2+ lb variety. I berated my father one trip for throwing a nice one back. Lol. Now if I'm aboard he asks prior to release.

I make them scampi style in the broiler. Hands down better than blackfish, more texture and flavor than cod.
