Keeping it going 4/18

Finished work early again today and had to go back out. Started with shadow rap shad, no results. Switched to the infamous black marabou jig 1/4 oz. First cast landed this nice small jaw. Slammed it on the back half of the drift and launched out of the water twice. Good, quick fight. It had a dime size wound on the other side of its body. Tough ass river fish.

Went back to another spot along the canal hoping for walleye, but no results. I did see one angler catch a nice eye on a double blade spinner.

Went back after work for night action. Got no action. Good day though.
