Default Bass n Blues

Broke MI at 715 and had first fish on 7:20. Fished one MOJO rod with Chrome spoon trailer, that's all I needed. 65ft south end Point Pleasant 5 bass to 36inches and 7 monster blues. Went through a few shads on the mojo.
stopped fishing 9am.
Great day calm sea. Only 2 boats near me. Everyone was off Bayhead and south. I never made it that far

Can't beat that trip..... Funny how those Bluefish aren't around all year yet they show up as soon as you put soft plastics out..

Bunker spoons did better for us then Mojos the other day. Only hit I had on the Mojo was when we had a fish on the Spoon and reeled in the Mojo so it didn't get hung up... Had it a few feet under just off the transom and wham, a big nasty gator hit it.
