Golden Eagle - Fishing Report
Today wasn’t the best day. We read a lot of fish and it was pretty nasty this morning and we couldn’t drift. We didn’t catch much on the anchor but as the day went on the wind backed off and we were able to drift. We were still reading the fish and they did start to bite a little bit. We caught some but not nearly enough. They were all 10 to 18 lbs. Everything was on Run Off hammer jigs today. Things should improve the next few days as the wind backs off.
It should be an absolutely gorgeous day tomorrow so we will be back at it.
