Simple rule of thumb with tides and canal. 3hrs from what the tide is in the inlet. Full moon, new moon, strong surf can effect this by 25min or so sometimes.

Spot on. 3hrs after inlet tide maybe plus a few should be slack. Was down Tuesday and this was right on. On a side note I got about a dozen or so with maybe two keepers, didn't measure or keep any. Didn't bite til incoming slowed down, half on traditional rig and half on a jig, man do these canal fish pull!!

Navionics app for phone will give you a tide forcast for rt 88 brigde in the canal. According to the app today is a 2 hour difference. That said, what the others replied is right, 2 1/2 - 3 hrs. from inlet. Beaver dam creek entrance tide is another good one to check. That one is about a 1/2 off canal tides.
