![]() Decided to head out again today to see if the fish were biting for the 3rd day in a row. Changed it up a little bit this time looking for old "MARBLE EYES!" This would wind up being a really good decision, LOL! I'll keep this report short and sweet. I'm just tired today and I need a nap……….
Landed 10 walleye with 6 being 18 or better and only 4 being shorts. The bigger fish of the day measured 21, 25 and the big girl went 26 inches. Heres a few pics of the bigger Walleye. ALL FISH RELEASED! Great day to be out and about. Its almost December and the fishing has been off the charts! TIGHT LINEZ!!!! YEA BUDDY!!!! 21 incher….. ![]() 26 incher….. ![]() ![]() 25 incher….. ![]()

![]() Eddie,
Great pics and beautiful fish. You know how to put fish in the boat for sure. Awesome job on the releases as well. Nothing like catching a true trophy fish but the satisfaction you get seeing her swim away to get bigger and be caught again is second to none. Phenomenal job! Off topic question for you.....how long do you fish for channels and flat heads in the big D? Maybe the question I should ask is how far into the fall / winter is it worth fishing for both? I suspect they are starting to transition into their wintering spots and assume for a while they will still be feeding and fattening up for the winter. Caught some real quality channels in the spring before they moved out of their wintering spots but was curious how long into the fall you target them if at all and what your experiences have been with them actively feeding. Again great job on the eyes.......real quality fish! Dakota |
