way in the back of Raritan Bay
Had the kayak out last night. There were tons of bunker everywhere - nothing on them for several hours.
Then at sunset - BAM! weeded through the blues until I livelined a 20lb+ beauty of a bass. safely released. It was awesome. Fish swirling and breaking up schools everywhere. This was all in 6ft of water.....just outside the channels. A few anglers on the beach were running for there poles at a regular pace. |

Re: way in the back of Raritan Bay
Tried fluking between buoy 14 and 11a but it was impossible with all the big blues trashing our fluke gear. Could not get away from them no matter where we went.
