![]() Please remind other fishermen who catch any largemouth or smallmouth bass between April 15th and June 15th that they must be released. The season for them is closed during that period. There are some big smallmouths in many of the trout stocked streams and some anglers might tie into one thinking it is a big brown trout. If anyone thinks about puting a big bronzeback on his stringer or in a creel, think again. Those fish MUST BE RELEASED.
The breeder bass that are on their beds near the edges of lakes and ponds during this time are prime targets for the bucket brigades. If you see something, say something. |
