Custom Rod / Present - Questions

Wondering if anyone has had experience creating a custom made rod that somehow incorporates names of places one has fished onto the blank / wrap?

Would like to get a rod for my Dad, but would like to list some of the places we've fished together like Montauk, Hyannis, Oyster Creek etc. on the rod itself.

Also, would love some guidance on what to expect cost to be (ballpark range).

My price point is different as the thread work wont be as fancy. My price range will be between $175-200 for a Striped bass, Fluke type rod conventional or spin. This would include 3 colors persons name, and could put quite a few other words on the rod for an extra charge. If you order by sat 3pm I can have it for Christmas.
