john capeci sr&jr / with henry and grampa lewis 9/5/14





capt's kevin gerrity and dave bender took john capeci sr&jr / with henry and grampa lewis out for an overnighter.
we trolled some longfins and at dusk put out the bigeye spread and it paid off, we caught a 125 pound bigeye and hank did a great job angling the fish. not long after we had two more bites on much bigger fish only to have the fish cross the spread and get burned off. we set up for the night chunk with no tuna love, but the guys fought a monster on the shark rod, as i backed the boat down for what seemed like an eternity. we finally we up and down on the fish when the rod snapped ####** we couldn't bugde the denison of the deep. the guys sailed with us for the first time and had a great time we enjoyed breaking their ###*
