Default FISHERMEN/Best Fluking of the Season today!

Caught the change of tide perfect this morning and rode it out, first drift lasted 3 hours with non-stop action, shorts, keepers, some nice limits and a bunch of Happy Customers for the day.

Pool fish went 5 pounds with most of the keepers right around the 18-21 inch mark. Some nice Sea Bass in the Am also. Most needed 10 oz. to hold as the current did run pretty hard.....Bring some heavier lead and a medium to heavy action rod PLEASE!!

Open boat everyday this week except Saturday AM.

Capt. Ron

WHAT COULD BE BETTER FISHIN AND COOKIN MY TO LOVES COMBINED TOGETHER, WAY TO GO VINNY, JOHN, MIKIE, CHRIS, AND HENNERY (GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK IN ACTION). "GOOD LUCK MONDAY BOYS"
ON A DIFFERENT NOTE, IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN IN THE NEW SHOP RITE IN HAZLET, TRY TO GET THERE IT IS FANTASTIC,(IN MY OPINION) MY SISTER HATES IT. GO FIGURE
STEVE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEEPER AND SAFER IF YOU WOULD HAVE COME WITH CAPT.RON, YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO EAT YOUR SANDWICH, AND I WOULD HAVE MADE YOU A STACK OF FLAP JACKS
IF YOU KEEP GOING ALONE YOU WILL HAVE TO CHANGE THE NAME TO THE LONELY SHRIMP. AND WHO WOULD WANT THAT

on a side note forgot to mention,as i was loading my truck with my gear a black truck comes flying up and the driver jumps out,i thought it was a BIG POOL HATER coming to take me out turned out to be the game warden,he asked me a few questions and made me open my cooler and wanted to see my fish, they were all ready fillet and in a bag,so he moved a couple pieces of clothing in my truck looking for full fish i guess,he asked me if all the fish were done like mine meaning cut,i said i would say so and he got back in his truck really quick to go search a few more peeps i would think,so beware all you peeps that keep the fish that the mate didnt check and you called a keeper because you never no who is watching

The "Pool Hater" thing is funny as hell, I could just see the look on your face!
Surprised they just didn't come on the boat when we docked. Just about everyone gets their fish fillet, we don't see too many whole ones going off the boat anymore.
