Default Belmar Fluke'n 6/16/13

Two PA anglers took a ride to fish for bass/fluke today. Rusty Balls 3 sailing out of the shark river inlet. Headed north about a mile before the rocks around 7am had bunker splashing here and there, wasn't able to snag any, didn't see any boats bringing bass in. Bunker vanished withing 30 min so we turned to fluking. I caught 4 keeper fluke on the first long drift, biggest being 24". By 930am I had my limit. Wound up with 7 keepers and a keeper sea bass. Great day on the water prob caught over 40 fluke myself and about 10 robins, 3 sea bass, and one dog. Give it a try in another two weeks. Few guys back at the slip KILLED sea bass.

Anyone else get out today? Reports?
