![]() Went out for an hour after work with one rod set up with worms while throwing out a grub for whatever may come along. no action on the worm but i did manage a little perch and a feisty little pickerel on the jig.

![]() One of the best early spring fish to catch. They love the cooler water, are aggressive, and FIGHT. I usually convert a treble hook to a single hook by cutting the two extra hooks to aid in release. Skipping a super fluke across an emerging lilly pad can garner multiple exciting strikes and a few hook ups...mostly just exciting strikes which are way too
