The season has been extended a bit because of the milder temps and some spacing between the storms. The seasonally higher freshwater temps and sunny days give a shot for some more great action.
As some here have suggested, there are some other good late season presentations as well. Don't overlook the creme worm, which is a small rigged worm on a spinner, and the old school rubber worm, worked slowly on the bottom. I had a friend I used to fish Split Rock with, he would use a purple or black worm 80% of the time and would outfish most of the guys we met on any particular day....
