Whites Pond/Shepherds Lake Report

[Perfect Drift]

Went to my Whites after the state supposedly stocked yesterday. Fished three hours managed one brookie.
Took a ride to Shepherds got there 1:00. Stocking truck was backing up as I pulled up. Counted 4 breeders among the stockies hauled in. Managed my limit (4 holdover lake) on 5 casts. All on spiners. Saw three breeders caught by the fishermen and one by a commorant. Great fishing for the first hour before some idiot decided to let his black lab swim where we were fishing. Dog almost got snagged by some guy tossing a rapala. All Browns.

I was at White's yesterday from 430 till 6. Did not see anyone get anything. Did anyone actually see the stocking truck?

The prior Thursday the truck showed up at 2 pm. I asked around and the people I talked to said they saw no truck yesterday.

It definetely didn't appear to be stocked yesterday. Although there was one angler there fishing in an inflatable, and he seemed to imply that they had stocked.
