![]() I gave the Paramount bonita trip a try today. Fishing was good for some and not so good for others. Being able to cast and work a jig was the ticket for bonita. Bait caught some albacore and some mackerel. I wound up with 3 bonita, 3 albies, 2 mackerel and some out of season sea bass. Pool was a 10-12lb mahi. High hook had 10 bonita and 1 albie. He had the magic gold epoxy jig and casted away all day.

![]() What kind of rod/reed set up is appropriate for the bonita/albies? Line weight? Tackle?

![]() 12lb spin gear, 1 and 2 oz epoxy jigs, ava 007 and 017, small livebait hooks.

![]() We were close by, pink split tail Tsunami worked very well on the albies, bait or 1/4 oz green bucktail on the bonito.
