(FRI) Today we ran our open boat Tog trip and it was one stop shopping, it took about ten minutes to get them going but once we did they never stopped chewing until we pulled the hooks. Sal hooked into a good Tog and said to get the net. I never heard him ask for one before, so we knew it was a good one. He usually says to lift it or lose it, once I looked over the side I understood why he said net. It was five minutes later and he put another double digit fish in the boat and finished up with 30 keepers for the day. Ryan was also hot for the day landing at least 20 keepers and had a few triggers and everyone else had a bunch also. We kept our one man limit and then went into C&R mode the rest of the day.


(sat) This AM we did another open boat trip and it was good fishing again. We fished one drop most of the day with a mixed bag of fish coming over the rails: Tog, Triggers and porgys. The die hard Tog guys who stuck with it did very well. Danny was kicking ass all day with the jig catching at least 25 keepers up to 8 lbs and a bunch of shorts too. Some of the other guys mixed it up with porgys and also catching a bunch of Tog. We kept our one man limit and then went into C&R mode. At the end of the day we made a quick drop on some rocks and the Tog were playing there too.
