Default Ruined from NJ bass fishing (bass fished in FL)

Went fishing down in Florida while i was on vacation with my wife in orlando. my buddy Morris Campbell, from Fishidy.com, who is a guide down there, picked me up from my hotel and brought me to stick marsh for the absolute sickest bass fishing i could ever imagine. we landed 38 bass averaging a bit smaller than some of the ones i'll picture here and many over 20", the biggest going 26" 7lbs 13oz! here's the fish porn, if anyone wants details feel free to ask.

oh and here's some regular sized pike and bass that i caught after returning to NJ haha.

Congrats on the (extremely) productive trip to FL. My in laws live near Orlando so I get down there regularly and have never had anywhere near the success you had fishing for LMbs. What lures/bait were producing for you? I know those Florida Largemouth love shiners and more than once I have been told by guys at bait shops in the area that live shiners are the way to go but I have never been a bait guy and have stubbornly refused to heed the locals advice. With that said, if most of your fish were caught using live bait maybe it's time I re-evaluate my anti-bait position when I am in Florida over the holidays....

Left the lure in the mouth for the one pic. 12" saltwater hogey jerkbait. That lure got the second and third biggest fish. The biggest one was on a golden shiner. Im not a bait guy either but we kind of used the shiner as a finese lure on a drop shot rig, just instead of a plastic, it was a shiner. Still fished one rod and felt the hit and everything. Go to stick marsh, bring golden shiners, and if you want a guide id highly recommend Capt. Morris Campbell!
