![]() I never use this word in my fishing reports, but yesterday's Whiting trip was EPIC.
Was fishing on the Annie B, with Capt. Nate from the Eastman Fleet Seabrook, NH. We had an all star crew aboard, weather and condition were perfect. This was a one stop drop day, began bailing Whiting and Ling immediately. Over 350 Whiting, 90% in the 2-4 lb range, several 4-5 lbs. Well over 200 Ling were boated. We also got a few Haddock, Pollock and Red Fish, but it was a 100% Whiting Trip. Fishing was so good I got hooked into an old tangled line and came up with 5 fish. If you weren't catching, it's because you didn't have a line in the water! We came in early as the coolers were full! Fantastic trip, thank you Marc Schloss for putting it together. Reminded me of fishing with my Pop as a kid, know he was smiling at us all! Fish are in the Brine, Smoking begins tomorrow! |
