Default RI Fluke Trip - 1 spot left

Have a trip this Thursday and Friday June 15-16 out of Wakefield, RI on 6 pack to get my fluke season stated. I fluked fished allot last year including several trips to Nantucket. This trip surpassed them all in quality and quantity. Bob Bates who is an excellent fluke fisherman who has been fishing for more years than most of us are alive said it was the best Fluke trip he has ever been on. That is a very impressive statement coming from him. We are doing the exact same days as we did last year so we are hoping for a repeat this year. Last year we fished Block Island and most likely will be heading that way again this year. THe main target will be big fluke but i am sure we will get some seabass mixed in as well.

If interested in joining our group give me a call asap

If I remember right we had 18 fish over 7lbs the second day. Looking forward to it.

Same type of setups we use hear. We will most likely be bucktailing most of the time like we do hear when fishing sticky bottom. Bucktail on bottom with teaser 12-16 " above. I like the 6" gulp grub. The good thing is bottom is hard as they have large boulders all over the place. Much more forgiving than our bottom
They should be feeding on sand eels as last year they were stuffed. If you are a bait guy go with a 2 hook whole squid rig

You were the hot hand that day as you probably caught half of those 7 + lb fish including the pool winner. I have the deck shot to prove it
