Yeah, Andy, that's why I prefer the other spot. It's a hike from the parking lot, so it draws less of a crowd. But, like I said, the only road getting to it was closed, so I had to opt for this spot. This spot is dope if it's rainy or cold and windy, because you can set up the rods and then sit in the truck out of the elements and watch them. Friday, it was crowded with groups of Orthodox or Hasidic Jews. Their kids were fun though, they got all excited and ran over to see the fish.
I had 2 guys "mugging" to the left of me, 3 rods each and they managed a white perch between the 2 of them! There was another guy fishing about 50 yards away that managed 1 short striper and 1 nice cat. Those fishing had all left before I got the largest striper and the 2 cats.

Eskimo, I couldn't tell one catfish from another, that's why I just group them all into the category of "cats". LOL. I did see signs there maybe 5 years ago warning about not eating White Catfish, so White Catfish are in that area. Don't know if this was a White Catfish, White Bullhead, or what it was. Just that it had whiskers.
