Joey Tomatos Fishing Charters

I did not charter today but I did fish. I dock at Clark's Landing and back in the day my friend and I have rotated the days on who's boat we would fish on. I have been busy since I started chartering so not many days have we been able to fish together. But today was the reunion. We fished and went North and were out in the deep for a while but that wasn't happening so we hit the coast. As soon as we did we spotted small piles of Bunker, real close to the shore and the action started. As long as we could stay with the Bunker there were fish under them but the wind was strong and those moments were short. We snagged and dropped and had one right away. We kept chasing them but the wind was not allowing us to stay with the small piles of Bunker. What we did see was large piles of Peanut Bunker and small Bass were ripping them. We tried to catch them but we did not have the right rigs to do that. Tomorrow I will be more prepared. They were small Bass that were eating them but it will be fun to catch and then release them, just to catch fish. And who knows maybe there will be a big one that will come up and slam our baits.
