![]() Anyone anchoring from the midship cleat? Ive got a low deadrise rig so the rocking should be OK. Was thinking of an easier way to wreck grapple a sport cabin

![]() Hmmm - Never tried it but I would think you'd knuckle around the anchor more if anchored from Mid ship rather then from the bow?
Chuck?? Abrasion.... If you are trying to avoid going up to the bow, short of a windlass, I've seen set ups with pullies leading from the cockpit to the bow pulpit and they launch and retrieve the anchor from the cockpit rather then have to go up to the bow.

Your right ya do a lot of weboling but your still on the structure. Everything has a place and time. But drop the danforth and snag with the grapple if you miss the piece tie up mid-ship.
