Reel Class Friday 8/26 Fluke
Ran with a full open trip yesterday.
Some left over south wind and a decent swell from the S made conditions challenging offshore, but we started out with a nice pick of shorts and a couple keepers. That however dried up very fast.
Wound up moving around A LOT and burning a ton of fuel. Fished on rockpiles, off wrecks, even went off to a wreck that has produced this time of the year, and found very little life. Inshore, mostly to the south, there was a hard S current, so that also made things challenging.
At the end of the day we "pieced" a little catch together of 9 keeper fluke, and 1 seabass. Very tough day, conditions just weren't right.
