after work smallmouths

went to the rockaway river today in search of some smallmouth action and caught 8 smallmouths ranging from 5" to 10",one lmb and one redbelly sunfish.the lmb was 6". the river was running at normal level the water was clear.no other anglers present very peaceful 2 hours of fishing.all fish caught on a god bless america jig and released safely,still alot of crayfish present, plenty of food for the fish there
