Default Inshore Yellowfin bite on fire again today 7/24

Ran out to the inshore tuna grounds with some friends and family for a few hours today and caught all we wanted and lost as many with pulled hooks and leader failure. (30 lb. fluorocarbon). Many boats around us had at least 10-15 or more Yellowfins within a few hours and on there way home by 11:00 am today. The bite was on fire until about 2:00 pm when it just died but prior to that most boats had them at times right behind the boat and hand feeding. Overall not a bad day considering it was on a weekend (Sunday) with a fairly large armada of boats but most still caught very well.

These are part of our catch with my granddaughters back at the dock. We keep a few the false albacore for shark bait.

Captain great reports. Hope some of those yellowfin migrate a bit further north. Would love to see an inshore yft season develop this year, been many years since that's happened up this way. It's a whole lot nicer when you don't have to run 100 miles offshore and overnight.
