Pre-work bass - 6/28/16

Hit a local pond yesterday morning. Landed 8 between 9 and 16" in a few hours on buzzbait. Best day I've had in awhile as the nice weather we've been having is great for ballgames and picnics, but sucks for fishing We need more cloudy, rainy days!

Bass bite was on fire at my local pond as well yesterday! It was the first day all summer really that has produced multiple 'pic-worthy' Bass. I also caught a bass on a buzzbait for the first time, that top water strike is awesome! I can see how you could get hooked. Now that I have a little confidence I will definitely start using buzzbaits more often. I also did well with cranks and spinnerbaits.

I think yesterday was just an all around good day for fishing. I think the cloud cover and change in barometric pressure had the fish on the feed. I went to a river by me and had one of the best days in a while. Smallmouth Rockbass and trout

now that's how you get ready for work landing a few nice largemouth. nicely done i agree with you we could use a little rain to get the feeder streams moving.
