4-21-16 Tarpon & Sacalait
forgot to post last week. Went to good ole lake cockolla. Got the carp rods set up & tossed a small tube jig for fun while I waited. Not a touch on the carp baits except turtles but I was rewarded handsomely on the tube. landed 8 crappies nothing big but very aggressive as the sun went down they were slurping bugs off the surface key was fishing the tube weightless so it sat on the surface. also landed 5 bass between 8-13 inches & countless bluegills. but biggest surprise of all was when my bobber & line went screaming as a 31 inch 16lb carp on 4lb test. Also found a lovely saboxone wrapper at the lake so good to know my carp are beating there opiate addiction.
