![]() Sweet lookin bass dude!! Don't get many at all like that, I think it happened once to me, largemouth as well. Had an esox chasing down a 2-3lb carp last week while my chick was reeling it in, she opened the bail so it can swim freely but the pike wouldn't commit. Good times!!

That's awesome. Sometimes a struggling fish on the hook just triggers a predatory response in other bass that aren't all that much bigger than the fish on the hook. Only once in my life have I been capable of 'upgrading' my small fish for a bigger fish as I reeled it in. . Last edited by Eskimo; 03-16-2016 at 10:26 AM.. |
