Default afterwork delight

it's mid april! no wait it's march 1st? heads up guys, take all your previous fishing records and back the dates up a month and a half! I swung by after work to do some fishing on ultra light gear. started off with mini mites...they worked slightly but it was getting lightly tapped and in about 30 minutes I only caught a few fish. I switched over to a rapala and it was lights out...the crappie were literally flying out of the water at the lure smashing it all over the surface like it was mid april! caught 30 crappie up to 11.75", a sunfish, and a small largemouth in about an hour/hour and a half. they weren't huge but man were they feisty! now that's fun after work!

Chris you're a madman! You're right about everything being early this year. will be interesting how it impacts fishing. Hope we don't get a cold spell mixed in if fish decide to spawn early, may have some not so desirable effects.
