Default Done till April

Well, held out hope that we could sneak in one more trip for Blacks but looks like the weather and slow fishing is gonna stop that. We will be splashing back in the Neptune Marina come April, can't wait. Got a couple new rod from Kevin that need to be christened. Always nice to talk to you guys on here and keep an eye out for us on the water. Anyone who needs anything just ask.

It was pretty good winter for Blackfishing for sure... Weather cooperated a lot more then last year.

Can't wait until spring as well.. It should be better too since we got a very late start last year because of the ocean water temps being so low. I think this year will be different given the mild winter we've had.

I won't be long until wax on wax off !!

Thanks Gerry,
I was a good season, even just fishing with the kids in the P.P canal was very good late into the season. If we all keep the higher ground we can keep our fisheries healthy. Not talking about Government, different conversation, just like Jerry Garcia said leave nothing behind but our footprints.

P.S: Shout out to MVP for everything.

Hey Brian
Blackfish Season this year from Middle of Oct e or(NY) through December was one of the best both for numbers and especially Quality. ( 9 fish over 10 lbs.)
I thought with that kind of start to the season Jan and early feb was going to be off the charts especially with all the trip i had planned down south. Unfortunetly even though we had a mild winter mother nature had other ideas as Marine forecast had 70% of our trips cancelled for Jan-Feb.

Have not been out till the middle of January. May try to give NJ togging one more try in Feb before blackfish season shuts down here for a month and then hopefully trips in April and May will not get blown out. Once may passes i will go through my log and sum up the year. Regardless of how it ends it has been a good year.

As for your rod i am still on the hunt so do not give up as once i set my mind to something there is no stopping me. Have faith as i believe this story will end up with a happy ending
