FISHERMEN/Very good fishing today!!Bass and Blues
Had many of the Monday regs out today for one of the best days in a long time!
Action right from the start with Big Blues and Bass mixed in. Shads and Jigs were the ticket. Amazing the amount of Bunker coming out of the back bays. I have a couple pics with them blowing up and the Bass and Blues under them. Netted a bunch of Bunker and live-lined them, instant hits once they hit the water! High hook had 4 Bass. Chris Zotti had two including the pool fish at 14 pounds. Guys had as many as 20 Big Blues in this day of non-stop action. Still sad to see guys gaffing these great creatures to only throw them back...they certainly won't survive and it's not right at all! Today we went through $45 worth of nets, if the guys had enough, we toss them back without any harm. Great day on the water for all!! Back at it tomorrow. Capt. Ron
