Default Fall 'eyes on the Big D

Had this weekend marked on the calendar for an overnight float trip on the big river. Watched the weather all week knowing we most likely would encounter some rain, which we did. We had all sorts of weather, from pouring rain overnight to sun and tshirts, to wind and winter jackets. Had the pleasure of fishing with my good buddies, including Bling306 and the infamous Fast Eddie, and we managed a few fish. I picked up 2 Walleyes before dark, both on a small Relax shad in 25fow on a dropoff. Bigger of the two went 17.5". Sun went down and Bling managed 2 Walleyes 19"-20", one paddle trolling from the yak () and one while hanging out on shore on a Rapala. Saw at least 30 sets of marble eyes hanging in the shallows last night! Sun comes up and Eddie wacks a few Smallies jigging a rocky ledge. Packed up camp around noon. Beautiful scenery, good fishing, and most of all good friends to enjoy it with!

Great report and absolute right perspective about life. The great outdoors with a few friends and some quality fishing with the beauty of the fall season can't be beat. Catching certainly adds to the enjoyment of the experience but is not what matters most. Great post and good looking walleyes!

Great time on the river! Could have done without the rain all night long, but glad that I caught my first pair of Delaware Walleye!!
