Default Squan Inlet Pounding

These were taken on Sunday during the nor'easter. Water was over the wall on the Pt. Pleasant side. No fishing for awhile. The ocean had enormous waves out to the horizon. Even the commercial fleet was in port.

Would you believe that a jet skier tried to exit the Manasquan Inlet during the storm? He had to be rescued by the Coast Guard's helicopter. I hope they give him a bill for cost of the copter.

I hope the CG hovered a bit to let him see his Jet Ski get smashed on the rocks, maybe he might have learned something.

Oh, brother. A dumb ass goes out in violation of all common sense, and ends up putting Coasties at risk and costing the tax payer thousands of dollars. He should get a bill for the cost of the rescue mission, and a fine on top of that, and half of it should go to the guys that rescued him.
