Reel Class Thursday 8/19 Fluke to 7#
Had our long time friend Dave F on board today with his dad, sister, and pals. Was kind of concerned about the forecast after pouring over windguru last night which called for doom and gloom hard south but it really never came to be. Was a nice day all day long with good drifting conditions.
Fishing, on the other, hand was still very tough. Another grind of a day with lots of shorts and the occasional keeper. Today was our day to catch the most shorts as we only wound up with 7 fish in the box for the day. I was lucky enough to get a 26"/7# fish and Frank was able to get one between 5-6#, but the rest were in the 18-20" range with lots of fish just missing the mark.
Back at it probably Friday, weather permitting - tomorrow is NG.
