My buddy has the deeper system and we have played with it a bit during ice season and on the boat....he has it paired with a Samsung Galaxy. It's cool but you have to get creative to make it as "hands free" as possible. Messing with a phone or iPad while on a yak isn't optimal. The deeper ball has in internal battery you have to make sure stays charged as well as your paired device. It was a great back up system when my battery took a dump last time out on the Mugger.
