![]() I've been getting out at night and catching the hybrids pretty decent this year but still have some questions. 1 - How much longer does the herring spawn last? 2 - After the spawn ends do you still use the same tactics at night to get them? 3 - What lures are you throwing at them? My old lady and the friends that haven't tried it yet think I'm nuts but I can't get enough of it! |

![]() It should have been over by end of June, everything got delayed this year its the longest spawn Ive ever seen. It dies off at night afterwards, better luck doing the early morn or before dark bite and switching to herring. When the water warms up they eat all day long their metabolism is very high. I got em good in the rain saturday morn and they were biting til lunchtime when I left after pouring on me for over an hour. U can either run and gun and use electronics if you have good equipment and side imaging or troll for them and mark where u go thru schools and then downline to them or troll in figure 8s or jig em up too

![]() They are genetic freaks, eating machines! Still worth it after the spawn on cong due to the traffic there daytime I'd say, but don't expect anything like what you have now!
